Religious and other charitable endowments exist to spread societal good and to serve general public utility. But endowments are also required to operate within a legal framework and, at often times, many endowments get caught into controversies that leads to obscurity of purpose. Internal politics, partisan relations, inflow of funds raised for religious services, misappropriation of properties, real scandals, fake scandals, etc. often tend to obstruct the path of spreading general good.

In modern times, these institutions are expected to carefully navigate the legal landscape of the terrain of their operations. But the awareness is feeble and access to quality legal advisory is missing.
